I've been coming here since 2018. I rarely order food. I usually get one of CG's mochas or lattes. I always find the drinks to be delicious, and their items are reasonably priced, in my opinion. This is definitely one of my favorite coffee/mocha shops in the city.
Everything is so good. I mean everything. I have really bad depression and the food here always cheers me up and reminds me of home. The ladies are sweet and make it a joy to get my food here. Thank you.
I get delivery most of the time from here so I can comment on the food. The packaging is great especially when I order smoothies, I never get a spill. My favorite thing to get here is the caldo de res. It gives off a cozy feeling like your grandma made the soup.
Everything we ordered tasted authentic and delicious. Always tough getting staff to point me in right direction in what’s popular yet overall authentic experience here.
Came here for brunch, got fresh blueberry-banana smoothie , caldo de pollo, & pepian de pollo. everything we tried was 10/10 very tasty, balanced and well-flavored, also the tortillas served had a great texture and taste. The woman who took our food order and also served our food had good energy and was very kind. I really enjoyed the caldo de pollo here; could not finish the pepian as it was more filling but was still yummy when re-heated at home. Also the amount of veggies were great, made for a very well-rounded meal! (chayote, green beans, potato, carrots, etc). So satisfying. There were a good amount of customers dining in especially for a Wednesday afternoon, and for good reason! Will be back :-)
AMAZING!!!! I had the Desayuno Guatemalteco and it was delicious. The steak is thin so it's easy to overcook it but my steak was juicy, flavorful, and tender. It was marinated in spices, other places don't even bother to marinate. The plantains were just the right amount of sweetness although I would've liked them slightly more crispy, but still yummy. The eggs were fresh and cooked to perfection. Tortillas were homemade- thicker than what I'm used to but good texture. And the BEANS!!!!! I don't like refried beans because they taste like....beans but omg these beans were SO flavorful, nothing like I've had before. I also got their green smoothie which was perfect amount of sweetness while still tasting "green". And omg their caramel cream latte?!!! Has to be one of the best caramel latte I've ever had- super creamy, nutty, sweet (even though I got half sweet), and just so good. Definitely recommend this place!!!!
** Please Note...All orders are made fresh to order, so please be prepared to wait... You will not be disappointed*** If you're in a hurry, I recommend placing a phone order. This place is nicely decorated and always busy, especially on the weekends. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful. Even with the small language barrier, we were able to make sure the order was correct. My go-to: 1. Chorizo breakfast wrap - so flavorful, and the avocado/guacamole is fresh. I love that they cut it in half. I usually split it with my husband, and we switch. 2. Bacon and sausage breakfast wrap - Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. It's the perfect portion of egg, meat, and potatoes. 3. Grilled cheese bagel with egg, bacon, and sausage- Yummy and cheesy goodness. It's pressed like a panini, so it's just like one mashed combo. Each bite is the perfect bite. 4. Platanos con crema - I love platanos, and this is perfectly grilled and sweet. I don't even use the crema. I really want to try the coffee one of these days and possibly try other dishes.
Breakfast burrito is incredible and their horchata latte is sooooo yummy! So shocked the reviews for this place aren't all 5/5.
